However, the free train service still allows tourists to travel between multiple cities within regions like Andalusia (for example, a train journey from Seville to Córdoba or Cadiz would be free under this scheme) or to take day trips from major cities.

Having come from Italy before landing in Spain, we were a little pizza-d out at the beginning of our Spanish adventure. But by the time we had gotten to Madrid, it had been a couple of weeks since our last pizza and the pizza cravings were starting to come back.
As announced by Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez last month, many train journeys in Spain are FREE from 1 September until 31 December 2022.
Free train tickets became available for pre-order from 24 August, and they are available for residents and non-residents of Spain, including tourists and visitors of all nationalities.
The process to obtain free train tickets is fully explained (in Spanish) on the RENFE website, by clicking here, as well as all the Frequently Asked Questions (also in Spanish). It is also simplified in a video from RENFE (see below).
I tried to use the above steps to get the pass between Barcelona and Girona, But I can only see all the local zone tickets of Barcelona only. It does not stand correct on the fact that mid range trains are free.

Taking a regional train from Madrid to Barcelona means more travel time than by high-speed train. It also means you don't have to reserve a seat and you can stop along the way in charming Spanish cities like Zaragoza and Tarragona.If you have a Eurail Pass, you don't need to buy a ticket. You can travel on this train for free and get on and off whenever you like.
Muni provides train and bus service to and from Oracle Park, connecting to BART at Embarcadero Station and Powell Station, as well as to points throughout western and southern San Francisco. The N Judah and gameday shuttles stop at 2nd & King Station, adjacent to Oracle Park; the T Third/Central Subway line stops at 4th & King Station, one block from Oracle Park. All train lines run until midnight Monday through Saturday and 10 p.m. on Sunday.
Postgame: In addition to Caltrain's regular schedule, extra post-game trains depart San Francisco starting approximately 15 minutes after last out, or when full, and run express to Millbrae before making all remaining stops to San Jose. Fans wishing to reach stations north of Millbrae can take regular scheduled trains. The last train departs San Francisco just after 12 a.m. There will be no extra service after the last train in the event that a Giants game goes into extra innings in order to provide overnight construction windows for the Electrification Project.
Golden Gate Ferry provides direct service to Oracle Park from Larkspur Ferry Terminal for all home games. Enjoy a one-hour scenic trip across the Bay, arriving within steps of the ballpark. The ferry departs Larkspur 90 minutes prior to first pitch and returns from Oracle Park 30 minutes after last out. You must book your ticket in advance.

Disadvantages: For the fortunate few - may be out of your budget Cost: From 65 euros top Bus The old 89 bus route to Plaza Colón has been discontinued and replaced by the Exprés Aeropuerto (Airport Express), a 24-hour service which has only 3 stops after the airport: O'Donell, Plaza de Cibeles and Atocha (this last stop only during the daytime hours between 6 am and 11.30pm). The buses run every 15 minutes during the day and every 35 at night, and the journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Tickets cost 5 euros and may be bought on board. Cost: Variable top Metro Madrid's Barajas Airport has Metro stations in Terminal T2 and the newer Terminal T4. Trains leave every 5 minutes from 6.00am to 2.00am. Line 8 goes straight to the Nuevos Ministerios Metro station in the centre of Madrid, with a journey time of just 12 minutes. The price of a single journey to or from the airport is currently 5 euros, which includes a supplementary airport charge. If you already possess a valid Metro ticket, you can simply purchase the airport supplementary ticket which is 2 euros cheaper. Tip: Consider buying the Madrid Tourist Travel Pass, which allows you to travel on any Metro, bus or suburban train, all included in the price of just 5 euros, making it a great way to save money on public transport. With this pass, it is not necessary to pay the airport surcharge.It is also possible to purchase a 10-trip "Metrobus" ticket, valid for both the Metro and city buses, since you will undoubtedly be using the Metro again during your stay. There is now a fixed rate of 30 euros to any central location (within the M-30 ring-road). For other locations there are many, at times confusing, supplements to the basic fare.
